The Technology Opportunity
If you look closely, you might notice something… the best brands are starting to focus less on the crisis and more on what comes next.
Some are even choosing to see opportunity.
Like using technology to build a better business.
It’s very good to see. But it’s best done with a warning.
Too many firms jump into this thinking “tech” itself is the solution. But it’s not.
It’s simply a way to solve an important business problem. Spending money on coders without a clear idea of what you’re trying to accomplish is a recipe for disaster.
(I speak from personal experience, both as a coder and as a client who should have known better.)
As it relates to fashion, a good solution should do at least one of the following:
#1: Serving the customer better (and hopefully more efficiently).
#2: Reducing costs through better operational efficiency.
#3: Reducing costs through better production efficiency.
Keep an eye on the goal and your brand might just come out of this stronger than ever before.
